ANGELA TUPPER - Club Chairman

We’ve got an amazing group of people that love our sport and create a fun, but still competitive atmosphere in our club. School teams, University, Regional and a quick dabble at International level has taught me a lot... some of which I remember, but overall I’m keen to keep playing and being involved in one of the fastest games on two feet!

ANNIE LUNN - Club Chairman

I've played lacrosse for 18 years (!) and with Clapham for 7. It's a great feeling finishing a hard day in the office to hang out with such a great group of girls and to run around the training pitch or have a natter in the pub after a game. I'd encourage anyone to join, it's fun, inclusive and a great way to meet new and like-minded people... whether they want me or not, I think I'll be sticking around for a while...at least in pub if not in defence!

NIKKI BRIANT - Premiership Captain

Clapham Lacrosse has been a delightful part of my life since 2013. Providing a place of fun, friendship, competitiveness and never-ending challenge - I hope to bring this and much more to Tuesday coaching sessions. Having recently coached the Spanish Lacrosse team, taking them to their first World Cup in 2017, I look forward to bringing lessons and learnings from this experience through to the new role.

JULES CHAPPELL - Premiership Captain

Lax has been a fab part of my life for over 3 decades now, including helping to share our sport in countries around the world - from Jordan to Ethiopia to Guatemala. I have played the last 7 years with Clapham. In the early days, we were fighting to avoid relegation. It’s exciting and rewarding that we’re now able to challenge the clubs at the top of the Prem, while making awesome friends along the way :)

GEORGIA RUSSELL - Division 1 Captain

I started playing lacrosse when I was 11 and carried on all the way through to Loughborough Uni. A couple years after I left uni I then joined Clapham and have been div1 captain since the beginning of last season. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to speak to me or Lizzy! Big ups Div1.

LIZZY NORMAN - Division 1 Captain

I started playing lacrosse at prep school and played all the way through to university (Exeter). I joined Clapham when I moved to London in 2014 and have found it such a friendly club with a great ethos. If you have any queries regarding joining or a friend looking please don't hesitate to get in contact.

FRAN ROBINSON - Division 2 Captain

I picked up lacrosse at uni and loved it - I joined Clapham last year after a few years break and haven’t looked back! I’m really excited to captain our new div 2 team this season. It’s a fantastic club with a great group of girls and I loved every minute of it so far!

EVELYN JONES - Division 2 Captain

I started playing lacrosse at university as I wanted to play a high energy team sport. Everyone at Clapham has been so friendly and welcoming since day 1. Training really brightens up a Tuesday (which for me is usually the worst day of the week) and, even after moving to north London last summer, I look forward to a run around with the girls who have become my friends as well as team mates.

ABBY LYONS - Treasurer & Training Venue Officer

Started playing at School in Monmouth a million years ago, then Wales, Heaton Mersey, North and Clapham. I've been playing for Clapham since 2004...yep 16 yrs and still cranking around the pitch! Lots of highlights throughout the years to include finishing last season on a high and staying up in the Premiership. Clapham has always been a fun and friendly club with a great group of girls.

CAITLIN MULFORD - Umpiring Co-ordinator

I started lacrosse back in prep school and after a 7 year break post-school joined Clapham in 2016. The club were so welcoming and great for getting back in to the swing of things! I can usually be found running somewhere around in the middle of the pitch as a mid.

HAYLEY MARVIN - Website Manager

I first picked up a lacrosse stick in my second year of university when I felt like trying something new. I've been a member of CLAX for 3 years now and the team really feel like my family where I have made friends for life. The team are a fantastic group of ladies and training and matches are always fun no matter what your level (pub trips and socials aren't bad either…)

ELOISE MUSGROVE - Pitching Co-ordinator

I started lacrosse at 11 and have loved playing throughout school and during my time at the University of Bath. I joined Clapham when I moved to London last year. It was great to join such a welcoming club wanting to have fun and play a great standard of lacrosse.

LOUISE JEFFREY - Social Secretary and Coaching Co-ordinator

Having played Lacrosse since I was 11, I decided after Uni to have a break from the game. I lasted 2 months and that was all down to Clapham Lacrosse. It’s a fantastic club that lets you play to your strengths, whatever your level of ability. It’s the most welcoming club and not all about the matches. It’s the Tuesday training, weekend chats and the socials!

SARAH CONNOR - Social Secretary

I joined Clapham last season after moving to London from New York looking for a way to stay connected to lacrosse and make friends. I’ve played lacrosse for well over a decade— starting out in middle school, and eventually playing for my university’s varsity team (Oberlin College).

ALEXA PINNER - Kit Officer

I started playing lacrosse in middle school with the boys team because there was no girls team yet. So I played in goal because it was the only position that was the same in both girls and boys lax. In high school I played for four years before playing club lacrosse at University of Maryland. I was thrilled to find lacrosse in London when I moved here in 2014 and started playing with Clapham. I love playing in goal for this incredible team, everyone is so friendly, talented, cheerfully competitive, and playing for the love of the sport.

LIV BAYLEY - Kit Officer

I started playing lacrosse at school and after a 8 year break and a move to London, I thought it would be great idea to attempt to start playing again and joined Clapham in 2016. I have loved every minute of it, the club is so friendly and gives you the opportunity to get involved no matter what your level.

HEBE PLUMMER - Recruitment Officer

I started playing lacrosse when I was 11 and have been running up and down the pitch ever since! I joined Clapham a few years ago and love how welcoming the club has been. Whether you’re an experienced player or looking for a good run around, get in touch and I’ll happily point you in the right direction!

I‘ve played lacrosse since I was 11, joining Clapham when I moved back to London in 2018. Everyone was so welcoming, I knew it was the club for me! Everyone of all abilities can get involved in training, matches and socials and we’re always looking for new members to join the fun!
